And we are thrilled to be introducing you to the result of months of journeying with fearless hackers, dedicated mentors, fierce private and public sector partners, all united under the banner of hacking this crisis together. It is in this inspired spirit that we present you the COVIDians & their solutions webinar series so that you also can get a very real touch of inspiration and engagement!
What do we have in mind with this series?
This webinar series aims at highlighting the ongoing success stories of hackers currently developing solutions to the COVID-19 crisis. It follows up from a set of virtual COVID-19 themed hackathons (Hack the Crisis hackathons, EUvsVirus, The Global Hack and more) from where these solutions arose. Each webinar episode will feature the founder of a solution to be discussed with relevant public and private sector experts knowledgeable about the solution's scope or directly involved in the solution's development. Through these stories, the goal is to:
present an innovative solution to the wider public
inform about the solution's development journey and its key stakeholders
to inspire the public in being agents of citizen-driven innovation
