In this 2nd episode of the COVIDians & their solutions webinar series we feature BrightAct an app to help victims of domestic violence. At a time when reports of domestic violence have been increasing rapidly due to worldwide lockdown measures, the BrightAct team got behind the mission to deliver the app to the victims with the support from governments as well as local and global organizations. Sofie and her team started out at Hack the Crisis Sweden, continued on to The Global Hack and became a winner o the pan-European hackathon #EUvsVIRUS in the Save Lives track.

presenting BrightAct to the public
pinpointing key moments in BrightAct's solution development journey
illustrating and discussing the roles of the public, private and 3rd sectors’ involvement with this solution and their positioning in addressing the matter of domestic violence
